Piedmont Newton's Concert for a Cause 2024
Join us Saturday April 20, 2024 for an outdoor concert featuring Yacht Rock Schooner!
All proceeds from this event will support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for Piedmont Newton Hospital.

Event Information
Event doors open at 6:30 PM; Concert starts at 7:30 PM; Party ends at 11:00 PM. City Pharmacy will provide a cash bar, and food trucks will be onsite for your dining pleasure. Seating will not be provided, so you are welcome to bring your own chairs and tables. This is an outdoor event and the concert will take place rain or shine.
Tablescape Contest
Here is your opportunity to show off your creative talents. Daring designs, beautiful flower arrangements, lanterns (with battery-operated candles, of course), and checkered tablecloths – BRING IT ON! We want to see who can create the ultimate picnic tablescape at our annual Concert for a Cause.
The DIY Picnic Tablescape Contest will take place the night of the concert on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Registration for the contest is required and limited to the first 20 who apply. All participants will be required to purchase a concert ticket. The top prize will be a blue ribbon, along with 2 free passes to the 2025 concert. Second and third-place ribbons will also be awarded. Tablescapes should be set up by 6:15, and judging will start at 6:30. The winners will be announced during intermission.
Judging will be based on creativity, so embrace your creative side with a theme. The little details will make all the difference. Look for innovative ways to use limited space wisely. Tables will not be provided, so please bring your own. The maximum table size is 6 feet. No glass or candles with open flames (battery-operated candles ONLY). Please, no business, organization, or club names on tablescapes. This is not the place to advertise.

At Piedmont Newton our purpose and our promise is to make a positive difference in every life we touch. We are a 103-bed, acute-care, community hospital in Covington, Georgia offering 24-hour emergency services, women’s services, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and general medical/surgical services.
Proceeds from Concert for a Cause will help Piedmont Newton prepare to receive a Level III NICU designation. By purchasing equipment such as ventilators, incubators, phototherapy lights, and a neonatal transporter, Piedmont Newton can provide the care necessary for the most fragile and critical babies.
As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit healthcare system, Piedmont relies on the generosity of donors to make many of our programs possible. The fact is, every patient who visits a Piedmont facility is touched by our donors whose support makes it possible to buy new equipment, improve facilities and expand research and education programs.
