Our Foundation’s first president, Harry W. Jernigan, Jr., had two passions: Our Hospital and golf. During the 1970s and 80s, Mr. Jernigan helped established a variety of facilities and services, all designed to improve the quality of care for our patients. His legacy lives on at Piedmont Augusta through the Jernigan Memorial Golf Tournament. For 37 years, the tournament has raised funds to provide financial assistance to patients, employee continuing education and capital improvements to Piedmont Augusta.
100% of the net proceeds stay in our community to benefit Piedmont Augusta and patients we serve. This year’s tournament benefits our stroke program at Piedmont Augusta and stroke prevention and education in our community. Your gifts can help save lives!
