- In 2019, an estimated 1,762,450 new cases of cancer were diagnosed in the United States and 606,880 people died from the disease.
- The number of new cases of cancer (cancer incidence) is 442 per 100,000 men and women per year.
- In 2016, there were an estimated 15.5 million cancer survivors in the United States. The number of cancer survivors is expected to increase to 20.3 million by 2026.
