I am participating in the Miracle Mile Walk 2023. I raise money for this event every year in honor and memory of those who are currently battling, have battled and won and/or who have lost the battle to breast cancer. My goal for this year is $2000.00. I appreciation any donation you can make in order to help me reach this goal.
I walk in memory of my mother, Gaile Bennett. My mother was informed at age 40 that she had breast cancer. I cannot even begin to imagine what it was like hearing those words. After 12 years of battling breast cancer, my mother lost that battle October 22, 1999 at the young age of 52.
The Miracle Mile Walk supports Piedmont Augusta's Randy W. Cooper, M.D., Center for Breast Health Services and the Women's Wellness on Wheels mobile unit, which provide life-saving screenings to women in our community regardless of their ability to pay. Piedmont Augusta Foundation and the patients we serve are grateful for your partnership even if you can't join us, you can help fight breast cancer in these ways: sponsor us, form a team or donate today!
Please support my participation in this exciting event and help me reach my fundraising goal.
I also encourage you to sign up and get in on the fun!
