I joined my breast health imaging co-workers team - DR. YEH'S BREAST BRIGADE! Dr. Yeh was a highly respected and loved surgical oncologist who passed on July 18, 2023. She was a huge advocate for the Miracle Mile Walk and her patients. It is an honor to be a part of a team bearing her name!

Out of respect for numerous family/friend’s privacy, I won’t name those who I am participating in honor of, one which had a double mastectomy yesterday!  I WILL name my “sister-rock” breast cancer warrior-winner – Karen Miller Steinhart though! Always remembering Janney Lynn Miller, my cousin, who passed at 46 years old. (Oh yeah... "Dear cancer, YOU SUCK!")

The Miracle Mile Walk supports Piedmont Augusta's Randy W. Cooper, M.D., Center for Breast Health Services and the Women's Wellness on Wheels mobile mammography bus, which provides life-saving screening mammograms to women in our community REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY.
