About Piedmont Macon Medical Center and Piedmont Macon North Hospital
Piedmont Macon offers expert care at two hospitals, six urgent care centers, three primary care offices and an occupation medicine center. Having served Middle Georgia for more than 50 years, we take pride in the outstanding patient-centered care we provide, and our record of accomplishments speaks for itself.
Piedmont Macon Medical Center is a 310-bed facility providing 24-hour emergency rooms, inpatient and outpatient surgery options, maternity services and heart care. The hospital has top-notch rehabilitation programs, oncology services, and behavioral health offerings.
Piedmont Macon North Hospital is a 103-bed hospital located in North Macon. Highlighted by a robust emergency department and a strong and growing elective surgical program, we offer expertise in a variety of specialties, including bariatric and orthopedic care, gastric reflux disease, and kidney stone treatment.
As a not-for-profit organization, philanthropic support helps us maintain and enhance services and facilities, and support education, outreach, and research activities.
