About Piedmont Mountainside Hospital
Piedmont Mountainside is an acute care community hospital with 76 licensed beds, 16 ICU with Board certified intensivists located in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains.
The residents of Pickens, Gilmer and North Cherokee counties are at the heart of everything we do, and our staff is dedicated to delivering unsurpassed and hassle-free medical care to these communities. We provide an integrated range of services including advanced imaging, cardiac rehabilitation and cardiac catheterization, orthopedic services and general surgery.
Additionally, Piedmont Mountainside offers access to intensive care and 24-hour emergency services. To provide additional access to world-class health care, Piedmont Mountainside has a second designated emergency department in Ellijay, Georgia.
As a not-for-profit organization, philanthropic support helps us maintain and enhance services and facilities, and support education, outreach, and research activities.
